The Spot-fixing Paajis is an exciting high school cricket thriller set in small-town India featuring teenage investigator, Cricket Thambi. A close contest is expected when Guruswami Public School takes on Pervez Public School in a 3 match T20 cricket series in the small-town of Chintupuram in South India. GPS narrowly wins the first game and the spirit in the team is really good. But when it unexpectedly loses the second game from a winning position to seal the series, things turn ugly and the players accuse each other of being spot-fixers who deliberately underperformed based on instructions given to them before the game by a bookie. The head coach rubbishes all the spot-fixing talk but a little while later the youngest player in the team, Cricket Thambi finds out that two of his seniors were, in fact, spot-fixing in the game. But why were they spot-fixing? And more importantly, will the head coach be able to take disciplinary action against them? A note on The Spot-fixing Paajis 1) What is The Spot-fixing Paajis about?
